When a tooth needs a crown or crownlay, traditional treatment can sometimes involve multiple appointments and temporary restorations.
For appropriate cases, our digital workflow can streamline the process.
01 — Digital Scan : We use an intraoral scanner to create a detailed digital impression of your teeth.
02 — Digital Design : Your restoration is digitally designed based on your tooth and treatment needs.
03 — In-Office Milling : Our in-office milling technology allows many restorations to be created without sending the digital design to an outside laboratory.
04 — Same-Day Completion : For appropriate cases, the restoration can be completed during the same visit.
Not every case is suitable for same-day treatment. We'll determine the appropriate approach based on your individual needs.

A More Comfortable Way to Capture Detailed Information
Digital intraoral scanning creates a three-dimensional digital impression of your teeth and mouth.
The scan can be used for certain restorative treatments and digital planning while also giving us a visual tool to help explain your dental condition.
Instead of simply telling you what we see, we can use digital information to help you see it too.
3D Imaging
A More Complete View
Our Axeos CBCT system provides three-dimensional imaging that can assist with evaluating dental structures and planning certain treatments.
3D imaging can be particularly useful when evaluating more complex restorative and implant cases.
It gives us additional information that may not be available from traditional two-dimensional X-rays alone.
When imaging is appropriate, we'll explain why we're recommending it and how the information will be used in your care.
